Episode 33 - I.C.U. - The Interactive Horror Game Show
Keenan 'Criken' Mosimann has a huge following on Youtube, and when he decided to ask his subscribers for support for his Kickstarter project, this is what happen. In this episode, I got the chance to talk to Keenan about I.C.U. - The Interactive Horror Game Show and deconstruct how he got his Kickstarter project to be fully funded in a matter of hours. I.C.U. is a horror game set on a reality TV show controlled by a live Twitch.tv audience. The project is a multiplayer game played between a livestreamer (the contestant) and their viewers (the audience). As the contestant, your goal is to make it out of the episode alive! As the viewer, your role is to customize the surroundings, features, and events of the episode to create the most entertaining experience possible! I honestly found this conversation refreshing because of how Keenan is using interactiveness to explore new territories when it comes to video games.
